A 10,000 ton, intact meteorite is discovered on an island on the southern tip of South America. Palmer Lloyd, a mult-billionaire, proposes to secretly recover it from the ground and transport it to his musuem in America. Mystery light and radiation burns the first man on the scene who partially uncovers the extra-terrestial object.
